..........Severe weather footage for use in a breaking news situation is available with a 5-day license. Footage may be uploaded via FTP for timely and newsworthy broadcast, and the license will expire at midnight Central Daylight Time five days after the day of upload. The license will be non-exclusive, and all rights and copyright will perpetually remain the property of Central Oklahoma Storms, LLC. Transferring licenses and sublicensing are strictly prohibited. Licenses are not valid until payment is received. The license agreement will also specify that during broadcast of the footage, the URL of this website (CentralOKStorms.com) shall be superimposed and visible on screen.
..........Chris McBee is also available for telephone and on-camera interviews for use during news broadcasts, to substantiate the footage and to provide insight into the weather situation. Rates are $200 for telephone interviews and $500 for on-camera interviews. These fees are payable upfront via credit card. ..A license agreement will be sent by fax, and payment may be made online via any major credit card. Only once the license agreement is signed and faxed back and payment is received will footage will be uploaded. Footage will be raw, uncut, and without watermark, in .avi format for SD footage, or in .m2ts format for HD footage.
..........In the event that a media outlet is the first to request a 5-day license on a certain piece of footage, that outlet may request the first 24 hours of the 5-day period on an exclusive basis—that is, the footage will not be sold to any other media outlet for 24 hours, granting an air of exclusivity to that outlet’s news coverage. The fees for a 5-day license are as follows:
