My name is Chris McBee, and I have been storm chasing for five years.
I graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 2005, and I have had an
interest in meteorology, especially severe weather, for many years. I grew
up in Norman, Oklahoma, in the center of Tornado Alley, and like most
Oklahomans, severe weather and tornadoes have been a way of life
for as long as I can remember.
Keep in mind that storm chasing is risky and dangerous. Please
do not attempt storm chasing unless you are trained in meteorology.
I invite you to explore this site and share in my experiences as a
storm chaser, witnessing some of the most violent weather on the
